We have over recent years been increasing the number of younger brethren coming into The Shoeburyness Lodge and their number is steadily growing.
As everyone knows, young Masons are the lifeblood of Freemasonry, and our new members are breathing new life into our lodge.
We get together every Monday evening for 7.30pm at Saxon Hall from September to May for our Lodge of Instruction where our newer members practise their ritual in a relaxed and informal manner but with a degree of seriousness about what we are doing.
This is followed by a drink in the bar and a relaxed chat about anything and everything.
This is a great way for everyone to get to know each other and feel an inclusive and a valued member of our fraternity.
